Hua Hin Editor

Hua Hin ahoi…Hua Hin is developing rapidly. We will have additional Hotels ( Ibis & Amari) and new Malls. The municipality is carefully restructuring parking and traffic rules in order to cope with the increased traffic flow. Hua Hin Today will inform and describe event and facilities in greater Hua Hin. We are there to promote our town, not to critizise  it. I have been approached on several occasions to report on crime and politics. Hua Hin Today will not do such. Most of us are quite happy with our lives here.

Hua Hin is very safe but there will crimes in any city in this world. I will reveal the crime rates in our March edition of Hua Hin Today. But as a comment , I would like to add that I feel a lot safer here , even at 2:30 AM than I would feel at 11:00 PM in…London , New York , Amsterdam , Copenhagen , Hong Kong, Djakarta or even Bangkok….you name it. We are guests in this country and if we behave accordingly, we will be treated with courtesy, friendlyness and respect.  

I keep saying: If you do not like Thai culture or Thai ways, you are in the wrong place.  It is your choice. Yours truly The editor
