Muay Thai superstar Buakaw Banchamek scored a wonderful knockout victory against Niclas Larsen in the All Star Fight 7, held at Phuket’s Jungceylon last month. After competing in over 270 fights and with more than 230 victories to his name, Buakaw dominated Larsen in a pulsating contest.
Dane Larsen, who was coming into the fight impressive 47-10-2 record with Glory Kickboxing, was downed in the second round of the three round encounter. In the opening exchanges, Buakaw managed to land some heavy kicks, before Larsen fought back landing a few punches, yet without ever really troubling the Thai star. Larsen was then unable to cope with an onslaught of punches from Buakaw, with the referee finally stopping the bout, and awarding victory to Thai fighter by TKO. Meanwhile, Thailand’s premier Muay Thai promotion.
All Star Fight has announced a super card on March 9 in Bangkok featuring various prominent champions and legendary names in the sport. The card features Muay Thai legends Buakaw, Superbon, Yodwicha and Sittichai and has been organised in collaboration with the Thai army
