It’s very appropriate that the entrance to the Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin is graced by a bust of Prince Mahidol of Songkla, who is recognized by the Thais as The Father of Modern Medicine and Public Health of Thailand’.
The hospital has celebrated its 5th anniversary with the management delivering a progress report and a demonstration of the latest medical diagnostic technology with a mobile digital mammography ‘bus’ providing the free mammograms for those in attendance able to take advantage of this service. The mobile digital mammography service is based in Bangkok and carries out a free program to check breast cancer in women as a CSR program. The anniversary was celebrated on 6th April with Doctor Chatree Duangnet, the Deputy Managing Director of Bangkok Dusit Wetchakarn Public Company Limited and Doctor Weerasak Pongpattanapan, the Director of Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin with hospital medical staff hosting the event. Executives of Hua Hin Municipality led by the Deputy Mayor Ms. Pailin Kongpan presented gifts to the hospital recognising the significant role played by the hospital is the Hua Hin community.
