The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the appointment of the new General Manager of InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, Mr. Jean-Marc Mocellin. A French national, Mr. Mocellin has most recently been the General Manager at InterContinental Tahiti Resort and this is his first appointment in Thailand. He looks forward to bringing his 30 years of management experience in luxury properties to lead the success of the resort’s expansion and facelift projects which are due to complete during the last quarter of this year.
“Guests of the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort are looking for the consummate experience, across every conceivable avenue of their stay. Their fondness for the tastefulness and design of the hotel, their expectations of the flavour and presentation of the cuisine, their confidence in our professional yet friendly services have all made this hotel truly an exception in Hua Hin. We don’t compare with others, but we do compete with ourselves,” said the new GM.
A valuable contributor to hospitality study groups and conferences in the greater region, a highly appreciated event organizer and culture proponent, he has been Co-President of the Hotel Association of FP (MEDEF) for 18 years, in permanent contact and negotiation with successive governments, tourism bodies, trade unions and associations, and is a respected voice in management and marketing. With his traditional French values in hospitality and fine dining, Jean-marc Mocellin will no doubt perpetuate the culture of service excellence to all our customers.
Please join the management and staff in giving Mr. Jean-Marc Mocellin a warm welcome, looking forward to a bright future under his leadership.
