Mr. Nopporn Wutthikul, the Mayor of Hua Hin has made a policy statement to the municipality about infrastructure development of public utilities, especially in relation to the upgrade of both minor and major roadworks which will concentrate on concrete surfaces and associated water drainage improvements.
As an example, he commented on the completion of improvements to Soi 18/2 with reinforced concrete and drainage pipes with a thickness 0.15 metre, a width of 3.20 metres and a length of over 300 metres. This project has a drainage sump every 15 metres throughout the route which can help to reduce flooding during periods of heavy rain. Alongside the new road is an improved water supply system to address the problems of water shortage during periods of dry weather.
This Project was constructed by CS Engineering and Maintenance Company Limited and is now ready for public use and considered to be much more convenient for traffic.
