Soldiers, Border Patrol Police and Police officers have arrested young man who planted cannabis to sell on social media. Last month various law enforcement officials searched an address at the Ao Noi District of Prachuap Khiri Khan.

They found six cannabis trees were planted in flower pots behind the house and 1,400 grams of dried cannabis and cannabis growing equipment. The officers destroyed this material and arrested Mr.Phuchong Mongkolpraneedlued aged 29 years.

After initially denying the offences, the accused confessed that the cannabis was to use and sell. He said he had brought the seeds from Chiang Mai, planted them and dried to be sold to young people and on social media with a price of 200 THB per 100 grams to be delivered to customers through the mail. The officers then laid charges and will bring the accused and to court in Prachuap Khiri Khan to proceed.
