Mercedes-Benz Thailand has set new car sales records. The company achieved an all-time high in the first five months of 2015 by making an all-time sales record of 4,108 units, an increase of 12.24% from 3,660 units in the corresponding period of 2014. It is now poised to extend its lead in the premium segment by launching the new S-Class Coupé, combining classic proportions of a large, sporty coupé with modern luxury and pioneering technology.

The model marketed in Thailand, S 500 Coupé AMG Premium, is now open for orders at Mercedes-Benz authorised dealers only, at the price of 15,490,000 baht. Mr. Michael Grewe, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz (Thailand) Limited, said, “In line with the commitment to deliver ‘The best’ to our customers, Mercedes-Benz consistently introduces new MercedesBenz models embodying the brand’s hallmarks of ‘Fascination’ and ‘Perfection’.

As a result, we comfortably defended our leadership in premium cars in the first five months of 2015 by making an all-time sales record of 4,108 units, an increase of 12.24% from 3,660 units in the corresponding period of 2014. These achievements can be attributed to our recent launches of more than seven new premium vehicles at Thailand International Motor Expo 2014 and Bangkok International Motor Show 2015. We now boast full coverage of all categories in the premium segment: the new CLA Shooting Brake from our New Generation Compact Car (NGCC) range; the new C-Class BlueTEC HYBRID Saloon (CKD), the new C-Class BlueTEC HYBRID Estate and the new V-Class from our Contemporary Luxury lineup; the new GLE-Class Coupé from our Dream Car family; and the new MercedesAMG GT S that doubles as our Thai debut of Mercedes-AMG marque.”
