Sansara Seniors’ Village Planned For Black Mountain

BuilderSmart PCL is currently targeting the property market through the development of a Seniors’ Lifestyle Community adjacent to the new 9 holes at the award winning Black Mountain Golf Course. This well located project will be exclusively for residents aged over 50 years. Chief Executive Officer for BuilderSmart Public Company Limited, Mr. Suresh Subramaniam, said that the company was pioneering the fast growing retirement property market by introducing a Sansara, a 500-million THB lifestyle residential community that includes ready access to a wide range of services for residents with 13 resort-style villas and 30 condominium units. “Sansara is a retirement-styled village, which is considered a high-growth industry.

With its resort atmosphere and five-star hospitality services, we expect it will receive a good response from the market,” he said. Sansara’s villas are scheduled to start construction by the middle of this year and completed later in the year, while the three condo buildings are scheduled for completion late next year.

Sanchai Nueangsit, BuilderSmart’s managing director, said the company is setting up a new wholly owned subsidiary to handle property development with registered capital of at least 200 million baht. The Lifestyle Community will be managed by Sansara Lifestyle Management, a joint venture between Buildersmart and Independent Management Group (IMG), an Australian Seniors specialist management company. Executives from IMG were at Black Mountain during last month’s True Thailand Classic together with staff at an information booth.

Hua Hin Today was able to speak with Ms Chloe Bedlow, the Operations and Training Manager and the Managing Director Ms Susan Malone who were very enthusiastic about this new project, although the full details are yet to be finalised. IMG’s Managing Director, Mrs. Susan Malone said, “IMG is experienced in managing communities for the retired for a long time in Australia. During the last five years, the company has also been working in China and South East Asia, so Sansara will be well positioned and able to provide residents with the security, community and services they seek to live with comfort and peace of mind.”

The Beaumont Partnership is Thailand’s leading architect firm and has been appointed to create luxury floor plans for villas and condos along with community facilities which will facilitate an active and healthy lifestyle. The Beaumont Partnership’s Executive Chairman, Mr. Timothy Beaumont, said that Sansara Black Mountain would showcase exuberant design and respond to the need of future residents because of its meticulous details and excellent architecture. He stressed that the development was not only for seniors, but for anyone over 50 years of age. Mr. Harald Elison, Managing Director of the Black Mountain Golf Club, said that he was excited by the Sansara project being launched at Black Mountain because European people, whether they are golfers or not, like to have peaceful living after retirement in Hua Hin.

The company is confident that the customers are going to like it. With the concept, “Live the life you love”, Sansara Black Mountain encourages seniors to enjoy their life and will provide options for activities, food and beverage services, home services, care, fitness, recreation and emergency services. It will be a ‘first’ for Hua Hin with further information and floor plans to be released soon and reservations are expected to be available from June, 2016.
