“Come on babe why don’t we paint the town ………………….. And all that jazz”
“I’m gonna rouge my knees and roll my stockings down ………………….. And all that jazz” (Chicago – The Musical)
The Hua Hin International Jazz Festival has been to town, wowing thousands of music lovers chilling out on the beach. The beer was cold; the food was fantastic and the beach setting on two warm balmy evenings spectacular with superb performances from world class entertainers. Apart from on-stage performances, the musician made themselves available for interview, workshops and impromptu appearances around town. As professionals who clearly love their craft, their willingness to personally respond to Hua Hin hospitality shone through.
Hua Hin is now firmly on the world calendar of musical festivals with HitMan Jazz organiser Vichart Jirathiyut breathing a sigh of relief that his months of careful planning resulted in the best Hua Hin Jazz festival yet. Khun Vichart spoke of the number of musicians from around the world who didn’t make it this year contacting him to make sure that they will be in next year’s line-up.
You’d also expect an Air Asia ‘Jazz Special’ next year as a very obvious promotional opportunity for 2019. ‘Painting the town’ at the Hua Hin International Jazz Festival 2019 should be a priority for everyone in town next year to once again celebrate ‘All That Jazz’.
