At the Oceanside Beach Club & Restaurant – Putahracsa Resort Hua Hin
The Putahracsa serve an excellent top end brunchat their Oceanside Beach Club & Restaurant every Sunday from 12 to 3pm which includes free flowing quality wines and classic cocktails for 1,699 THB Net per person. If you wish to splash out a bit more then you can select the free flow of Lombard champagne option at 2,999 THB Net per person. True to its name, the Oceanside which is located in central Hua Hin really is ocean side; you couldn’t get any closer. From here there are great ocean views and a very pleasant sea breeze ensuring that you dine in comfort.
This is an exceptional Sunday all you can eat buffet brunchand BBQ served by very friendly staff who ensure that your glass of wine or champagne is always topped up rather than having to ask. The range of superb quality fresh food on offer is huge a few examples of which are: Oysters Alaskan king crabs BBQ Rock lobsters and prawns Sushi Foiegras live station Caviar canapes Various steaks BBQ’d to your liking Extensive range of other European & Thai dishes including Tum Yum Goong Great salad bar Mouth-watering selection of patisseries’ and other desserts even including Apple Crumble and Paris Bread.
Apologies, but so many other great dishes are also on offer but impossible to describe in this short article. To sum it up, there is something for everyone here. Whilst you are tucking into your scrumptious food washed down by your wine or champers you can sit back and relax to background live music from “The Voice” Pamela D who also sings requests. Nothing too loud, just soothing music. Absolutely no “Rap” music.
Towards the end of our visit whilst having a great coffee and consuming yet more apple crumble we were amazed that each guest was given a great big red candy floss by Manuel Lang the General Manager of Putahracsa. Can you remember the last time you had candy floss? In my case about 55 years ago. Not sure I should tell my dentist.
In summary, if you really want to impress your loved ones, family or friends then you would be hard pressed to find somewhere that matches the Oceanside’s Sunday brunch; it is exceptional and in a great setting.
