Fifteen years ago the Anantara opened its doors in Hua Hin. The Anantara collection includes 35 luxury hotels and resorts in city, island and desert settings across Asia, the Middle East, the Indian Ocean and Africa. At this five star Resort the quality of service, as well as food and beverage is just beyond the most discerning of expectations. The anniversary celebration was in an authentic Thai style atmosphere.
The chilled drinks were served just before the sunset, with a combination of splendid Thai ‘starters’ such as rice/ shrimp crispy snacks and taro or sweet potatoes; so tasty. I especially enjoyed the Thai musical instruments; a Thai dulcimer makes the atmosphere perfect for a 15th years anniversary celebration. This year celebrations were made even more special by the attendance of loyal regular guests, especially Mr and Mrs Garland.
The couple has been valued guests for their holidays at the Anantara Hua Hin Resort and Spa since opening. I truly enjoyed the quality of the Anantara’s offerings to the guests; no matter whether they were a new face or as close as a family member. Seventy percent of the guests were regulars, not really a surprise me after this night, I can easily see why they return time after time.
