About 45 km west of Hua Hin, you’ll find the picturesque Hua Hin Hills Vineyard. The vineyard, with the elevated Sala Bar and Bistro overlooking the vines below, is set amidst rolling hills and jungle, and close to the Myanmar border.
This is in the same direction as Huay Monkol temple and on route to Pala U waterfall. To celebrate the annual harvest season, Hua Hin Hills Vineyard invited Hua Hin Today to experience the beauty of its mountainous property. Hua Hin Hills Vineyard was filled with lush green vines and grapes ready for harvest during the ‘Hua Hin Hills Vineyard Harvest Festival 2016’; a special festival during the month of March.
The festival provided the experience of enjoying feature activities such as picking the freshly ripened grapes from the vines and making fresh grape fresh juice (‘from grape to glass’) and sampling fermenting white juice so called Federweisser in German; something like fresh beer. Live bands performed cool jazz in the vineyard’s romantic atmosphere every weekend.
Now fully refurbished, The Sala Wine Bar and Bistro, in the heart of Hua Hin Hills Vineyard, also prepared a special Harvest Festival Menu. For the event Siam Winery announced two new wines on offer. The highlight of the festival was the ‘Harvest Full Moon Dinner’Harvest Sunset Dinner , a special 4 course dinner held on the night of the full moon, March 8th. All dishes were paired with premium Monsoon Valley wines.
The Harvest Festival is over for another year but there are many more reasons to visit this vineyard, take a guided tour and sample fine food and fine wine.
The vineyard is open daily from 9 am – 6:30 pm with a shuttle service available from the Hua HIn Hills Bistro and Wine Cellar located on 2nd floor at Villa Market.
