Baking Soda and Lemon Juice paste: Baking soda is mildly abrasive and alkaline which balances out the acidity of the lemon juice which is well known for its bleaching properties. Just mix in a couple of teaspoons of baking soda with lemon juice to make a paste. Wipe away any moisture (saliva) from your teeth and apply the paste on your teeth with your toothbrush. Leave the paste on for 1 minute and rinse it out. Don’t keep it on for too long and do it only a few times a week. Incredibly simple, isn’t it? 2. Strawberry, Salt and Baking Soda Scrub Strawberries are high in Vitamin C, which can help break-down plaque that is causing your teeth to look yellow.
It also has an enzyme called malic acid, which may help to remove surface stains. The salt acts as an abrasive portion of the paste, physically scrubbing the teeth free from staining substances lodged in our teeth. You can opt to leave out the baking soda if you want. Just mash 1-3 strawberries in a cup with a pinch of sea salt and half a teaspoon of baking soda. Wipe moisture from teeth and apply the mix with your toothbrush. Leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse. You can do this every night.
