Health officials on Friday (Aug 27) reported 152 new COVID-19 cases, 46 of which were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 2 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan, 6 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 55 cases in Kuiburi, 3 cases in Thap Sakae, 4 cases in Bang Saphan, 4 cases in Bang Saphan Noi, and 32 cases were found in Pranburi.

No more deaths were reported today.

The new cases bring the total number of cases in the province since April 1 to 7,597 cases.

Meanwhile, 101 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.

Of the 7,597 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,216 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 6,332 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 77 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 228 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Health officials on Friday reported a total of 237,038 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.

Of those, 161,572 people have received one dose, while 70,395 people have received two doses.
