Cha Am Food Festival will take place between 10-12 December, Phetchaburi’s deputy provincial governor has announced.
The three day event will be held on Cha Am beach where there will be restaurants serving local produce from famous entrepreneurs, as well as booths serving ready to eat food.
‘Clean Food Good Taste’ and SHA+ standards will be used to help ensure safety.
The Cha Am Food Festival will help to draw both Thai and foreign tourists, while at the same time showcasing the delicious food of Phetchaburi, the deputy governor said.
The news comes as Phetchaburi was recently announced as one of 49 cities listed in this year’s United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) Creative Cities Network.
Phetchaburi was added to the list for its gastronomy.
The deputy governor said that the listing of Phetchaburi as a Unesco Creative City ties in well with the hosting of the Cha Am Food Festival.
