Health officials on Monday (Nov 22) reported 47 new COVID-19 cases, 21 were found in Hua Hin.
Of the cases found in Hua Hin, 6 were linked to the cluster at Makro and 2 cases were linked to the cluster at Chat Chai market.
Elsewhere in the province, 8 cases were found in Pranburi, 6 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 3 cases in Kuiburi, zero cases found in Thap Sakae, 6 cases in Bang Saphan, 3 cases in Bang Saphan Noi, and zero cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan. One more death was report today, a 65 year old Thai man who had an underlying health condition.
Of the 17,471 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,178 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 16,827 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.
Health officials say 20 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 199 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.
Meanwhile, health officials have announced that 725,526 people in Prachuap Khiri Khan have received a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Of those, 380,686 have received one dose and 324,826 have received both doses. 20,014 people have received a third ‘booster’.
