Health officials on Tuesday (Nov 23) reported 61 new COVID-19 cases, 33 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 16 cases were found in Pranburi, 3 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 1 case in Kuiburi, 1 case in Thap Sakae, 2 cases in Bang Saphan, zero cases in Bang Saphan Noi, and 5 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan. No death was report today.

Today, Hua Hin accounted for more than 50 percent of the total number of infections found Prachuap Khiri Khan province.

Of the 17,532 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,166 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 16,900 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 20 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 179 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Meanwhile, health officials have announced that 728,731 people in Prachuap Khiri Khan have received a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Of those, 381,996 have received one dose and 326,704 have received both doses. 20,031 people have received a third ‘booster’.
