Oct 10: Prachuap reports 109 new COVID-19 cases, 38 cases in Hua Hin

Health officials on Sunday (Oct 10) reported 109 new COVID-19 cases, 38 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 33 cases were found in Pranburi, 6 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 7 cases in Kuiburi, 2 cases found in Thap Sakae, 3 cases in Bang Saphan, No-case found in Bang Saphan Noi, and 20 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.

No new deaths were reported on Sunday but two additional clusters have been discovered in Hua Hin.

The first cluster is at a bakery shop on Soi 51, while the second is at Cluster Bakery Shop  Chatchai Market. The two cluster have resulted in a total of 64 cases.

Meanwhile, no figures on the number of recoveries were available.

Of the 11,483 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,280 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 10,714 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 47 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 287 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Health officials also reported a total of 507,852 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.

Of those, 281,915 people have received one dose, while 216,599 people have received two doses. 9,338 people have received a third booster shot.
