Oct 14: Prachuap reports 155 new COVID-19 cases, 43 cases in Hua Hin

Health officials on Thursday (Oct 14) reported 155 new COVID-19 cases, 43 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 74 cases were found in Pranburi, 4 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 3 cases in Kuiburi, 2 cases found in Thap Sakae, 5 cases in Bang Saphan, No- case in Bang Saphan Noi, and 24 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Today one more death has been recorded, an 83-year-old Swiss national who lived in Hua Hin, who had an underlying health condition and had not been vaccinated.

Meanwhile, 92 people were discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.

Of the 11,886 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,331 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 11,069 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 39 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 222 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Health officials also reported a total of 529,040 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.

Of those, 291,879 people have received one dose, while 227,773 people have received two doses. 9,388 people have received a third booster shot.
