Health officials on Friday (Oct 15) reported 140 new COVID-19 cases, 57 were found in Hua Hin.
Elsewhere in the province, 68 cases were found in Pranburi, 5 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 1 case in Kuiburi, No- case found in Thap Sakae, No- case in Bang Saphan, No- case in Bang Saphan Noi, and 7 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Today one more death has been recorded, a 74-year-old Thai national who had an underlying health condition and had not been vaccinated.
Of the 12,024 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,385 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 11,154 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.
Health officials say 42 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 212 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.
Meanwhile, health officials have announced that 295,520 people in Prachuap Khiri Khan have received a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Of those, 295,520 have received one dose and 231,736 have received both doses. 9,406 people have received a third ‘booster’.
