Oct 16: Prachuap reports 152 new COVID-19 cases, 60 cases in Hua Hin

Health officials on Saturday (Oct 16) reported 152 new COVID-19 cases, 60 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 74 cases were found in Pranburi, 5 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 2 cases in Kuiburi, No- case found in Thap Sakae, 1 case in Bang Saphan, No- case in Bang Saphan Noi, and 10 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.

An additional five cases were found amongst prisoners and one was a migrant who fled to the city.

No deaths were reported today.

Of the 12,176 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,474 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 11,223 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 39 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 179 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Meanwhile, health officials have announced that 295,520 people in Prachuap Khiri Khan have received a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Of those, 295,520 have received one dose and 231,736 have received both doses. 9,406 people have received a third ‘booster’.
