Oct 22: Prachuap reports 341 new COVID-19 cases, 57 cases in Hua Hin

Health officials on Friday (Oct 22) reported 341 new COVID-19 cases, 57 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 236 cases were found in Pranburi, 1 case in Sam Roi Yot, No- case in Kuiburi, No-case found in Thap Sakae, 19 cases in Bang Saphan, 2 cases in Bang Saphan Noi, and 26 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.

One more death was reported today, a Thai man age 62-years-old, who lived in Muang Prachuap district, who did not have an underlying disease but what also not vaccinated.

Of the 13,345 cumulative total cases in the province, 2,092 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 11,788 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 43 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 182 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Meanwhile, health officials have announced that 319,480 people in Prachuap Khiri Khan have received a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Of those, 319,480 have received one dose and 253,109 have received both doses. 9,541 people have received a third ‘booster’.
