Health officials on Sunday (Oct 24) reported 240 new COVID-19 cases, 69 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 108 cases were found in Pranburi, 4 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 2 cases in Kuiburi, 1 case found in Thap Sakae, 8 cases in Bang Saphan, 14 cases in Bang Saphan Noi, and 34 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.

One more death was reported today, a Thai man age 39-years-old, who lived in Muang Prachuap district and who had an underlying health condition.

Of the 14,030 cumulative total cases in the province, 2,411 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 12,154 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 48 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 189 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Meanwhile, health officials have announced that 582,130 people in Prachuap Khiri Khan have received a COVID-19 vaccine.

Of those, 319,480 have received one dose and 253,109 have received both doses. 9,541 people have received a third ‘booster’.
