Oct 29: Prachuap reports 117 new COVID-19 cases, 37 cases in Hua Hin

Health officials on Friday (Oct 29) reported 117 new COVID-19 cases, 37 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 50 cases were found in Pranburi, 3 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 7 cases in Kuiburi, zero cases found in Thap Sakae, 1 case in Bang Saphan, zero cases in Bang Saphan Noi, and 19 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.

No deaths were reported today.

Of the 14,870 cumulative total cases in the province, 2,796 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 12,614 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 57 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 277 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Meanwhile, health officials have announced that 618,231 people in Prachuap Khiri Khan have received a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Of those, 335,682 have received one dose and 266,634 have received both doses. 15,915 people have received a third ‘booster’.

In terms of the different vaccinations administered in the province:

Sinopharm: 161,157 doses
Johnson & Johnson: 444 doses
Pfizer: 36,789 doses
