Oct 4: Prachuap reports 79 new COVID-19 cases, 37 cases in Hua Hin

Health officials on Monday (Oct 4) reported 79 new COVID-19 cases, 37 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 25 cases were found in Pranburi, 1 case in Sam Roi Yot, 2 cases in Kuiburi, zero cases found in Thap Sakae, 10 cases in Bang Saphan, 1 case found in Bang Saphan Noi, and 3 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.

No new deaths were reported on Monday.

Meanwhile, 71 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.

Of the 10,855 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,096 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 10,265 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 40 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 232 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Health officials also reported a total of 482,523 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.

Of those, 268,649 people have received one dose, while 204,768 people have received two doses. 9,006 people have received a third booster shot.
