Oct 8: Prachuap reports 93 new COVID-19 cases, 28 cases in Hua Hin


Health officials on Friday (Oct 8) reported 93 new COVID-19 cases, 28 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 51 cases were found in Pranburi, 6 cases in Sam Roi Yot, No-case in Kuiburi, No- case found in Thap Sakae, 5 cases in Bang Saphan, No- case found in Bang Saphan Noi, and 1 case in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.

No new deaths were reported on Friday.

Meanwhile, 78 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.

Of the 11,260 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,123 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 10,648 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 47 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 276 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Health officials also reported a total of 503,206 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.

Of those, 280,005 people have received one dose, while 213,890 people have received two doses. 9,311 people have received a third booster shot.
