The Royal Hua Hin Golf Course will mark its 100th anniversary with a special “Jazz On The Tees” concert on Saturday, 4 January 2025.

Organised in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Singha Corporation, and the Prachuap-Phetchaburi Golf Association, the event aims to celebrate the golf course’s rich history while promoting Hua Hin as a cultural and sports tourism destination.

The golf course, inaugurated on 28 June 1924 by His Majesty King Vajiravudh (King Rama VI), is Thailand’s first standard golf course. It holds historical significance as a symbol of the growth of the sport in the country. Earlier this year, the centenary was commemorated on 28 June with a ceremony honouring the course’s legacy and the contributions of King Rama VI.

The upcoming concert is part of ongoing efforts to spotlight the site’s historical importance while stimulating the local economy. By drawing golf enthusiasts, jazz lovers, and tourists—both Thai and international—the event seeks to encourage longer visitor stays and generate income for Hua Hin and surrounding areas.

“Jazz On The Tees” will feature performances from renowned saxophonist “Koh Mr. Saxman” and singer “Pod Moderndog,” offering a blend of live music in a picturesque outdoor setting. Alongside the music, attendees can enjoy gourmet cuisine, including dishes from Hua Hin’s top culinary spots and a variety of food trucks.

Tickets are available for THB 3,000 per person, which includes a round of golf, a souvenir shirt, meals, a banquet, and concert admission. Accompanying guests can attend for THB 1,000, covering meals, the banquet, and the concert.

With limited tickets available, those interested are encouraged to secure their spots early. For further details, contact the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course at 032-512475.
