Sept 11: Prachuap reports 53 new COVID-19 cases, 13 cases in Hua Hin

Health officials on Saturday (Sept 11) reported 53 new COVID-19 cases, 13 were found in Hua Hin, of those 8 were return back from another province to visit home town.

Elsewhere in the province, 2 cases were found in Pranburi, 4 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 13 cases in Kuiburi, No-case found in Thap Sakae, 6 cases in Bang Saphan, No-cases found in Bang Saphan Noi, and 7 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Of the infections in Kuiburi, 13 were linked to the cluster at the fruit canning factory.

No death was reported today.

Meanwhile, 354 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.

Of the 8,978 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,435 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 7,926 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 69 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 274 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Health officials also reported a total of 312,889 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.
Of those, 209,619 people have received one dose, while 97,606 people have received two doses.
