Sept 15: Prachuap reports 51 new COVID-19 cases, 7 cases in Hua Hin

Health officials on Wednesday (Sept 15) reported 51 new COVID-19 cases, 7 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 18 case was found in Pranburi, 6 cases in Sam Roi Yot, No-cases in Kuiburi, 1 case found in Thap Sakae, 7 cases in Bang Saphan, 1 case found in Bang Saphan Noi, and 11 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan, of those 32 were from Prachuap Prison.

Three more deaths were reported today, two Thai women, aged 65 and 71 years old, who lived in Thai Thai, Hua Hin and Thap Sakae, respectively. The other death was of a 71 year old Thai man who lives in Mueang district. All three had underlying health conditions and had not been vaccinated.

Meanwhile, 205 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.

Of the 9,247 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,139 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 8,577 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 45 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 211 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Health officials also reported a total of 336,354 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.

Of those, 214,414 people have received one dose, while 116,176 people have received two doses.
