Sept 18: Prachuap reports 59 new COVID-19 cases, 22 cases in Hua Hin

Health officials on Saturday (Sept 18) reported 59 new COVID-19 cases, 22 were found in Hua Hin, of those infected in Hua Hin 15 were from Army Sergeant School, Yothin Camp.

Elsewhere in the province, 6 cases were found in Pranburi, 2 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 5 cases in Kuiburi, 1 case found in Thap Sakae, 17 cases in Bang Saphan, No- case found in Bang Saphan Noi, and 1 case in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan and 5 were from Prachuap Prison.

One more death was reported today, a 76 -year-old Thai man, who lived in Pran Buri, who health officials said had an underlying health condition and had not been vaccinated.

Meanwhile, 54 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.

Of the 9,481 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,068 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 8,912 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 45 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 198 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Health officials also reported a total of 378,326 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.

Of those, 225,405 people have received one dose, while 146,904 people have received two doses.
