Sept 28: Prachuap reports 45 new COVID-19 cases, 24 cases in Hua Hin

Health officials on Tuesday (Sept 28) reported 45 new COVID-19 cases, 24 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 7 cases were found in Pranburi, 1 case in Sam Roi Yot, 3 cases in Kuiburi, 2 cases found in Thap Sakae, 6 cases in Bang Saphan, No- case found in Bang Saphan Noi, and 3 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.

One more death was reported today – an 85 year old Thai national who lived in Prachuap Khiri Khan and who had an underlying health condition and who had not been vaccinated.

Meanwhile, 81 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.

Of the 10,171 cumulative total cases in the province, 910 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 9,757 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 26 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 237 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Health officials also reported a total of 446,529 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.

Of those, 257,399 people have received one dose, while 181,239 people have received two doses.
