Health officials on Thursday (Sept 30) reported 167 new COVID-19 cases, 48 were found in Hua Hin.
Elsewhere in the province, 69 cases were found in Pranburi, 6 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 8 cases in Kuiburi, zero cases found in Thap Sakae, 30 cases in Bang Saphan, 5 cases found in Bang Saphan Noi, and 1 case in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Health officials said cases were linked to the following cases:
Hua Hin: Nong Plub funeral cluster (+31 cases)
Pranburi: Chat Keaw Market cluster (+43 cases)
Kuiburi Fruit factory cluster (+6 cases)
No deaths were reported today.
Meanwhile, 68 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.
Of the 10,459 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,056 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 9,899 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.
Health officials say 31 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 232 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.
Health officials also reported a total of 451,414 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.
Of those, 260,012 people have received one dose, while 182,911 people have received two doses.
