Sept 5: Prachuap reports 60 new COVID-19 cases, 21 in Hua Hin

Health officials on Sunday (Sept 5) reported 60 new COVID-19 cases, 21 of which were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 4 cases were found in Pranburi, 4 cases in Sam Roi Yot, 3 cases in Kuiburi, zero-cases in Thap Sakae, 18 cases in Bang Saphan, 8 cases in Bang Saphan Noi, and 2 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.

No deaths were reported today.

The new cases bring the total number of cases in the province since April 1 to 8,477 cases.

Meanwhile, 70 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.

Of the 8,477 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,622 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 7,115 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 56 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 283 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Health officials on Sunday reported a total of 293,985 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.

Of those, 197,239 people have received one dose, while 91,317 people have received two doses.
