Health officials on Thursday (Sept 9) reported 98 new COVID-19 cases, 60 were found in Hua Hin.
Of those 59 came from a cluster at the Royal Thai Army Sergeant Major School Yothin Suksa Mahamongkut Camp.
Elsewhere in the province, 4 cases were found in Pranburi, 4 cases in Sam Roi Yot, zero- cases in Kuiburi, 2 cases in Thap Sakae, 10 cases in Bang Saphan, zero-cases in Bang Saphan Noi, and 18 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan, of those 12 were from prison.
No death was reported today.
Meanwhile, 61 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.
Of the 8,831 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,792 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 7,422 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.
Health officials say 66 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 298 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.
Health officials also reported a total of 305,809 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.
Of those, 204,287 people have received one dose, while 96,037 people have received two doses.
