Health officials on Wednesday (Sept 8) reported 129 new COVID-19 cases, 66 of which were found in Hua Hin.
Elsewhere in the province, 20 cases were found in Pranburi, 2 cases in Sam Roi Yot, zero- case in Kuiburi, zero-cases in Thap Sakae, 4 cases in Bang Saphan, 2 cases in Bang Saphan Noi, and 35 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.
No death was reported today.
Health officials reported cases from the following clusters:
- Hua Hin – Royal Thai Army Sergeant Major School Yothin Suksa Mahamongkut Camp (+33 cases)
- Hua Hin – Hotel cluster (+12 cases)
- Prachuap Khiri Khan – Prachuap prison (+28 cases),
Meanwhile, 89 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.
Of the 8,745 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,755 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 7,361 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.
Health officials say 65 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 287 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.
Health officials also reported a total of 303,052 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.
Of those, 202,511 people have received one dose, while 95,099 people have received two doses.
