Health officials on Sunday (Aug 15) reported 75 new COVID-19 cases, 25 of which were found in Hua Hin.
Elsewhere in the province, 30 cases were found in Pranburi, 5 cases in Sam Roi Yot, No new cases in Kuiburi, and also in Thap Sakae, 3 cases in Bang Saphan, 2 cases in Bang Saphan Noi, and 10 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Today found with 1 new death was reported which the death was the 26th in Prachuap province.
The new cases bring the total number of cases in the province since April 1 to 6,449 cases.
Health officials said the deceased was a 71-year-old, living in Pran Buri who had a Hyperlipidemia health conditions and who was unvaccinated.
Meanwhile, 63 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.


Of the 6,449 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,677 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 4,746 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.
Health officials say 102 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 274 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.
Meanwhile, health officials have announced that 119,626 people in Prachuap Khiri Khan have received a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Of those, 178,392 have received one dose and 54,103 have received both doses. 4,663 people have received a third ‘booster’.
362 people, understood to be mainly French expats, have received the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
