Ban Hua Municipality School, led by Mrs. Haruethairat Hinkoa, a Specialist teacher, will propel their school activities, according to the school’s environmental project, brought a group of students together at the Poolsuk community area to take care of the community’s environment for its further eco-friendly development and sustainability.
Eco-school is a project under the support of the Department of Environmental Quality Promotion, under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. Established for campaigning and inviting villagers and tourists to work together to separate waste in the community area. The project is focusing on garbage separation at the source.
Then collects the remaining materials to create household products such as lamps from plastic bottles, plastic lids and coconut shells. This project has received interest from foreign tourists who came to observe and help support the school’s mission. Such activity creates and promotes participation brings many benefits back to the community.
An important goal has been and is being achieved by the environmental education of the Eco-school; environmental learning in schools and at all the levels and by studying about environmental education management processes to solve environmental problems and encouraging a clean environment for the community and the nation.
Baan Hua Hin Municipal School was selected to be an Eco-School in 2015 and received the 1st National Excellence Award from the Department of Environmental Quality Promotion under of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and was appointed as the Eco School Learning Center for the academic year 2018.
