Health officials on Tuesday (Nov 9) reported 87 new COVID-19 cases, 39 were found in Hua Hin.
Elsewhere in the province, 12 cases were found in Pranburi, 15 case in Sam Roi Yot, zero cases in Kuiburi, 3 cases found in Thap Sakae, 5 cases in Bang Saphan, 7 cases in Bang Saphan Noi, and 6 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.
A new cluster was discovered in Sam Roi Yot at the Thai Yodthip Co., Ltd., a factory that processes and preserves food and vegetables.
One more death was reported today, 76-year-old Thai woman who lived in Kho Noi district, Pran Buri, who a congenital disease and was not vaccinated.
Of the 16,445 cumulative total cases in the province, 2,158 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 14,826 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged,
Health officials say 36 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 277 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.
Meanwhile, health officials have announced that 667,602 people in Prachuap Khiri Khan have received a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Of those, 362,694 have received one dose and 285,738 have received both doses. 19,170 people have received a third ‘booster’.
