Health officials on Wednesday (Oct-6th) reported 121 new COVID-19 cases, 33 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 53 cases were found in Pranburi, 7 case in Sam Roi Yot, 1 case in Kuiburi, No- case found in Thap Sakae, 24 cases in Bang Saphan, No- case found in Bang Saphan Noi, and 3 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan. No death was reported today.

One more death was reported today, a 48-year-old, Thai national from Muang Prachup district who health officials said had an underlying health condition and who died despite receiving two doses of the Sinopharm vaccine.

Meanwhile, 48 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.

Of the 11,043 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,185 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 10,366 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 43 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 271 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Health officials also reported a total of 486,446 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.

Of those, 267,533 people have received one dose, while 209,734 people have received two doses. 9,179 people have received a third booster shot.
