Hua Hin City Municipality has announced a temporary road closure in the city centre to accommodate this year’s Songkran celebrations.

The partial closure will affect Damnoen Kasem Road from the front of Hua Hin City Municipality Office to Phon King Phet Public Park.

Damnoen Kasem Road is the main road that leads from the old train station down towards Petkasem Road.

The closure is being implemented to facilitate the main Songkran activities taking place in Hua Hin. The public celebration will be held on 12 and 13 April in front of the municipality office.

Drivers are advised to use alternative routes during this period, including Soi Hua Hin 74 and Soi Hua Hin 74/2, which runs through the area near the old shopping mall and Supamit Hotel.

Motorists are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and exercise caution while driving.

Municipal officials have apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked residents and visitors for their cooperation during the festival.
