Health officials on Friday (Sept 10) reported 94 new COVID-19 cases, 21 were found in Hua Hin. Of those 13 came from Royal Thai Army Sergeant Major School Yothin Suksa Mahamongkut Camp.
Elsewhere in the province, 5 cases were found in Pranburi, 1 case in Sam Roi Yot, 40 cases in Kuiburi, 1 case in Thap Sakae, 6 cases in Bang Saphan, 10 cases in Bang Saphan Noi, and 10 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Of the infections in Kuiburi, 26 were linked to the cluster at the fruit canning factory.
No death was reported today.
Meanwhile, 150 people were also discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.
Of the 8,925 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,736 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 7,572 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.
Health officials say 67 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 307 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.
Health officials also reported a total of 309,379 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.
Of those, 206,759 people have received one dose, while 97,104 people have received two doses.
