Be Amongst the First to Take a Walk in The Park

The newest housing development to spring up in region is The Park Exclusive Residence Hua Hin

The project is located off Soi 112 on the road toward Banyan Golf Club. “The area is very green,” said Robert Rystrom, one of the developers of the project. “It has a real park-like feeling, that is why we are calling it The Park.” Launched in September of this year, the 86-villa project has already sold six, and an additional three have been reserved. There are 5 villa types to choose from, Oasis 1, 2, 3 and 4, and the Mirage – all include private pools and all can be customised.

Prices start at 4.5 million THB for Oasis 1, with the most expensive Mirage villa starting at 9.6 million THB. “We’re trying to use some new ways of development,” said Robert. This includes using lightweight steel construction, magnesium oxide boards, and many eco-friendly practices including LED lighting, solar energy for hot water, rain water collection, and inverter air conditioners. Framing of the structures will be done with SMARTFRAME™ – the latest innovation of cold formed, light gauge, steel framing technology from BlueScope Lysaght, the world leaders in pre-engineered steel structures. The framing is more cost competitive compared to timber frames and conventional reinforced concrete structures, has a high strength to weight ratio resulting in lighter structures, is easy to prefabricate and mass produce, and is termite proof.

The builders will also use synthetic resin roofing tiles that have a 50-year lifespan. The tiles are self-cleaning and reduce bad climate impact outside of the roof. The colour will not fade for at least 10 years, and they are highly decay resistant. The walls will be constructed utilising Magnesium Oxide Boards, which are virtually impervious to water, fire, insects, and chemicals, and actively prevent the growth of mould and mildew, all while being environmentally friendly and non-toxic.

LED lights will be used for all the homes and LED solar lights
will be used for the garden and common areas. Among the many benefits of LED lighting is they last 40 times longer than traditional lightbulbs, there are no toxic gasses to complicate disposal, and they do not generate heat. The villas will also utilise solar power to heat their water. Using solar power is an energy-efficient way to heat water and saves money while helping the environment. Privacy is also important to the builders of The Park Hua Hin, and there will be two-metre high walls between the homes.
