A distress call from the Rajamangala University of Technology; Wang Klai Kangwon Campus in Hua Hin has resulted in the rescue of a deer from a large reservoir at the university. The 5 year old deer had fallen into the reservoir and could not climb out due to the steep sides. Coordinated by Mr. Jeerawat Pramanee, Permanent Secretary of Municipality of Hua Hin, a large crane was dispatched to help and the rescue team spent several hours bringing the deer to safety. The buck deer is now recovering from the experience at the Wildlife Centre in Pak Nam Pran; a Royal Project.
