The Asian Beach Polo Championship will take place on the beach in front of Intercontinental Resort Hua Hin on Saturday, 25 April 2015. This is the only equestrian competition on the beach in Asia and has been held continuously for 6 years. Winners of the event will be awarded trophies of Princess Bhatcharakittiyabha, known among Thais as Princess Pha. All proceeds will be contributed to the “Kam Lang Jai” (Encouragement) Project initiated by the Princess. Over the past 5 years the Event has attracted many tourists and beach polo enthusiasts to visit Hua Hin. This event also makes Thailand famous among foreigners and Thai people because it enables them to realise the capacity of the country to organise a sporting event at the international level.
