The Centara World Masters Golf Championship will again be held in Hua Hin in June next year, organisers have confirmed. This year’s inaugural event was a huge success with about 500 amateur golfers from 23 countries, the organisers, Thailand-based Golfasian and Australia’s Go Golfing, have said.
The 2015 edition will take place from June 14-19 at Black Mountain, Banyan, Majestic Creek and Imperial Lakeview. “We are very delighted about the immense success of the inaugural event and are excited to welcome even more golfers to Hua Hin in June 2015,’’ said Thirayuth Chirathivat, CEO of Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin.
The tournament is open to male and female amateur golfers aged 35 and over. There are 15 divisions based on age and handicap.
