Say goodbye to your low-rise skinny denim, ladies. You seem to all know that, but still I can see in town some daring to show their mid-sections. Retail analysts have predicted that the highwaist jeans, would be the fashion’s next big “it” for any consumers and we kinda noticed it already during 2014. Goldman Sachs recently released a report and said high-rise pants are “emerging as THE apparel product of the decade.”
This high rise tends to flatter most body types and tends NOT to show cracks when you bend over. They are great for those maybe a bit older, more active or even those with few extra kilos and don’t like the ‘hanging out everywhere’ effect of low rise jeans. With today’s higher rise, you will look good and in style from skinny to curvy frames! With denim, every brand size is different so don’t be afraid to go for a higher size, if you need to alter the waistline, it’s not a problem. You just need to focus on how you feel and we don’t want to see anything hanging out, or squeezed in The “Low Rise” trend started in the early 2000’s with the peak of the “Super Low Rise” (between 2002-2004), when there were easily exposed thong panties and cracks, or worst with the mega-muffin tops hanging out. And it was soooo uncomfortable, unflattering and definitely not for every body shape. So to conclude , please stop the Low-Rise Waist Pants = OUT!!!
