« Le Cordon Bleu », a world-renowned brand, synonymous to the very best in culinary art, opened its 30th school, as a joint-venture with Dusit International, just over 3 years ago in Bangkok: Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School (LCBD), teaching the basics of French cuisine and patisserie through the famous “Le Cordon Bleu” recipes by highly-experienced “Le Cordon Bleu” chef instructors.
At a recent tasting session of 14 pastries at LCBD by 14 honorary and professional judges, 5 pastries with the highest scores were selected: the Mango and Coconut tartlet, the Yoyo Cake, the Duck Liver and Chutney Macaroons, the Almond-flavoured Jivara Macaroons and the Baobab Verrine.
The LCBD Master Chef Fabrice Danniel, who has a “Brevet de Maîtrise en Pâtisserie” in candy-making, chocolate and sugar-works, ice creams and catering as well as almost 30 years of culinary experience, will be training chefs at Dusit 5-star hotels namely: Dusit Thani Bangkok, D2 Chiang Mai, Dusit Thani Pattaya, Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, Dusit Thani Hua Hin and Dusit Thani Manila in the Philippines.
