Italy native Riccardo Ioanna oversees the culinary operations of all eight food and drink venues at InterContinental Hua Hin Resort. He brings to the position of executive chef for the five-star resort more than 17 years of kitchen and restaurant experience. Riccardo began his culinary career with studies at renowned Villa Santa Maria cooking school, known as the ‘Home of the Chefs’. He then gained Executive Chef Riccardo Ioanna, InterContinental Hua Hin Resort broad experience in many capacities including as commis, chef de partie and chef de cuisine at distinguished restaurants and major luxury properties. His experience ranged wide geographically including London, Bermuda, New York and Dubai.
The chef worked as chef de cuisine for cruise ship The World, an exclusive residential community at sea. Before joining InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, Chef Riccardo was executive sous chef for two-and-a-half years at InterContinental Bali resort. He joined InterContinental Hua Hin Resort as executive chef in February 2016.
