Located on one of Hua Hin’s liveliest street corners, the Hagi, top Japanese Restaurant at the Centara Grand, reopened on November 20th after a complete overhaul of the venue including a splendid bar and an lighted electric roof which covers the outdoor section should it rain enjoys views of the busy Hua Hin night life. The Hagi restaurant was redecorated in a very fashionable way.
The inauguration reception was well organized with invited guests from the Hua Hin social and municipal scene. Among the guests were the Major of Hua Hin, TAT director, most GM´s of the Hotels, Emmy from Emmy Events with two beautiful fashion models and our police chief Khun Damrongsak, VIP guests from Hua Hin and Bangkok and the Bold & The Beautiful. The Hagi offers traditional and modern Japanese cuisine with a wide selection of Sushi and Teppan-Yaki, a Japanese dish of meat or fish that is fried on hot plate by a dynamic chef who jumps around, juggling his cooking tools whilst you watch your Kobe beef being prepared.
A fun experience, with plenty of action tasty Japanese snacks and Sushi. Wine flowed freely, offered by Siam winery from Monsoon Valley spearheaded by cute Hanna of Germany PR her way through the guests. They make some fine wines ! Summa Summarum, a splendid evening with Glamour, Lifestyle and Japanese performances of Dance and Drums.
