Olympian Justin Rose made history when he hit the first hole-in-one in modern Olympic golf history on his way to winning the gold medal.
The 36-year-old athlete, who is representing Great Britain in the games, watched as his ball flew through the air and then disappeared into the cup during the first round of the men’s golf tournament during the 2016 Rio Olympic games. The reigning British Open champion three-putted for bogey, then Rose tapped in for the victory with a final-round 67.
